Houston, Tx – The CANIETI Professionals group make a business trip to Houston to meet with top companies from the oil & gas industry.

The purpose of this trip was to make technical visits to three companies from the oil and gas industry: Forum Energy Technologies (FET) hosted by Josiah Hayles, Regional Operations  Manager; Gardline Surveys hosted by Andrew Haigh, Geophysical Manager; and the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute (NGI) hostedy Dr. Victor Taboada, CEO.

The trip was guided by Dr. Zenon Medina-Cetina, Director of the Yucatan Initiative, and Ms. Patricia Valera, PhD Student from the Stochastic Geomechanics Laboratory (SGL).

To finalize the trip, the group enjoyed the evening attending to a baseball game at the Minute Mad Park.
