Merida, Yucatan, Mexico – The Texas A&M delegation, Dr. Valerie Taylor, Senior Dean Associate, Dr. Sonia García, Director of Undergraduate Recruitment, and Mrs. Maria Alves, Director of Engineering International Programs, visit Yucatan City to carry out a work meeting on the Education Table that will allow to establish regent programs and international academic mobility.
The participants of this working table were the Anahuac-Mayab University, Marista University, Technological Institute of Merida, Autonomous University of Yucatan, Metropolitan Technological University, CINVESTAV, and the Scientific Research Center of Yucatan.
This work meeting also allowed to approach important topics about the projection for the creation of the Yucatan Politechnical University, and the CANIETI program, a summer research internship at TAMU in its third consecutive year. Another meeting was held regarding Engineering Learning in which TAMU, the Education and Mathmatics Faculty of the Yucatan Autonomous University, and CINVESTAV participated.
