College Station, Tx – Derived from the work that has been done as part of the Yucatan Initiative, a visit from the Yucatan delegation is programmed at TAMU with the main objective of investigating about the possible collaborative projects in the agriculture area so these can add up to the current projects being developed in other areas.
During the visit the Yucatan delegation meets the diffent departments of the Agriculture School in TAMU: Agricultural Economics, Horticulture Sciences, Poultry Science, Soil and Crop Sciences, Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Nutrition and Food Science, Ecosystem Science and Management. They also covered various centers such as the Vegetable and Fruit and Improvement, Institute for Plant Genomics and Biotechnology, Borlaug Center for Southern Crop Improvement, Spatial Sciences Lab, and the Center for Bioinformatics and Genomic Systems Engineering.
